Founded in 2019 in Cologne, Germany, Badesofa Interior Design GmbH was born from a simple idea: to transform the bathing experience into a luxurious, spa-like retreat.

Co-founders Natalie Steger and Annika Götz, both professionals with backgrounds in textile development and qualitative market research, sought to address the discomfort of traditional bathtubs. Their solution was the BADESOFA™ an innovative, ergonomic bath pillow designed to provide unparalleled support and relaxation.

2019 - Where It All Began

Founding the Badesofa Interior Design GmbH
What began as a simple wish for more bathtub comfort grew into a bold idea: bringing design and wellness into everyday life. In 2019, we launched the original BADESOFA® as our first product in Cologne.

2021 - A Stage for Innovation

Featured on Germany’s Shark Tank
We presented our BADESOFA® on Germany’s version of Shark Tank – and captured the attention of millions. A defining moment that helped turn our design-led idea into a recognized wellness brand.

2022 - Growing with Vision

Team Expansion & New Headquarters
In 2022, rising demand led us to expand our team and move into a new office in Cologne. Today, we work in a collaborative, family-friendly environment where good ideas and great design meet.

2023 – Wellness Goes Global

Launch of Our US Company, NY
To bring the Badesofa experience worldwide, we launched our US subsidiary in New York City. Since then, our commitment to everyday wellness and timeless design has begun to float across the Atlantic.
