Which size is right for your dog?

Every dog sleeps differently. That’s why the right DOGSOFA size isn’t determined by breed or weight alone. What matters most is your dog’s body size, preferred sleeping position and the sleeping area they actually need.

1. Observe how your dog sleeps

Does your dog like to curl up, snuggle against the padded edge or stretch out fully?

2. Compare the sleeping area

What matters is how much space your dog actually needs to rest comfortably.

3. When in doubt, size up

If your dog is between two sizes or likes to stretch out, we recommend choosing the larger size.

SMALL

SLEEPING POSITION, NOT JUST BODY WEIGHT

Curled up or stretched out?

Two dogs of a similar size can need very different amounts of sleeping space.

Curled up & snuggled in

Dogs that like to curl up or snuggle against the padded edge often need a more compact sleeping area.

Stretched out

Dogs that like to lie long on their side or stretch out fully need more space.

That’s why your dog’s preferred sleeping position is at least as important as breed when choosing the right size.

THE SIZES IN DETAIL

SMALL – compact and cozy

Sleeping area: 60 × 40 cm

Small is particularly suitable for small dogs that sleep in a compact or curled-up position and like to use the padded edge as a headrest.

If your dog often stretches out fully or the 60 × 40 cm sleeping area feels a little tight, we recommend Medium.

MEDIUM – more room to relax

Sleeping area: 80 × 60 cm

Medium gives small to medium-sized dogs more room to move and is also a good choice for dogs that often change sleeping positions.

If your dog needs more than 80 × 60 cm when fully stretched out, or if you simply want to give them more space, we recommend Large.

LARGE – our most spacious DOGSOFA

Sleeping area: 90 × 70 cm

Large is our biggest DOGSOFA size and is suitable for larger dogs as well as dogs that like to stretch out when they sleep.

Again, breed alone doesn’t determine the right size. Especially for larger dogs such as Labradors or Golden Retrievers, check whether the 90 × 70 cm sleeping area suits your dog’s actual body size and preferred sleeping position.
